Administrative data

First-aid measures

Eyes: Flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes, occasionally lifting the upper and lower eyelids. Get medical aid.
Skin: Get medical aid. Flush skin with plenty of soap and water for at least 15 minutes while removing contaminated clothing and shoes.
Ingestion: Get medical aid. Wash mouth out with water.
Inhalation: Remove from exposure to fresh air immediately. If not breathing, give artificial respiration. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. Get medical aid.
Notes to Physician: Treat symptomatically and supportively.

Fire-fighting measures

General Information:
As in any fire, wear a self-contained breathing apparatus in pressure-demand, MSHA/NIOSH approved or equivalent), and full protective wear.

Extinguishing Media:
Use foam, dry chemical, or carbon dioxide.

Accidental release measures

General Information: Use proper personal protective equipment.

Spills/Leaks:
Vacuum or sweep up material and place into a suitable disposal container.

Handling and storage

Handling: Avoid breathing dust, vapor, mist, or gas. Avoid contact with skin and eyes.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry place. Store in a tightly closed container.

Exposure controls / personal protection

We declare that the substance is used under strictly controlled conditions during its whole lifecycle as described under Article 18(4) and Section 2.1 of the Guidance for Intermediates.

Effectiveness:
Prevention of exposure since the substance is rigorously contained by technical means during its whole lifecycle and procedural and control technologies are used to minimise emission and any resulting exposure as described under Article 18(4).

The PPEs to use during accidents, incidents, maintenance and cleaning activities are:
