Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

The likely environmental fate of the substance has been assessed based on the substances physico-chemical properties and relevant study data.

The substance is poorly water soluble (1.5 mg/l at 25°C) and has a relatively low octanol/water partition coefficient (log10Pow 2.51). The low water solubility and log Pow values indicate the substance may persist in the aquatic environment.

The substance has a relatively low adsorption coefficient (log10Koc 2.47) indicates that the substance has a relatively low potential for adsorption to sediments or soils and is therefore unlikely to significantly partition from the aquatic compartment into the sediment or soil compartments. This will also be limited by the water solubility.

The substance is not readily biodegradable. Hydrolysis data showed that at 25°C after seven days the substance appeared to be stable in both neutral (pH 7) and alkaline solution (pH 9) but unstable under acidic conditions (pH 4, half life 200 hours).

It is therefore considered that the substance may persist in the aquatic environment under environmentally relevant conditions.

The substance has very low potential for bioaccumulation in aquatic species based on log10Pow 2.51.
