First-aid measures

Eye contact:

Upon contact with the eyes keep the eyelids open and rinse the eyes for a sufficient length of time with water. Then consult a physician or eye specialist immediately.

Skin contact:

Upon contact with the skin, wash the skin immediately with a large quantity of water and soap.

Swallowing:

If swallowed, consult a physician immediately.

Fire-fighting measures

Extinguishing media: Water spray, foam, dry powder, CO2

Respiratory protection with independent air supply is required for fire-fighting.

Accidental release measures

Soak up spilt product while avoiding dust generation.

Fill into labeled containers that can be closed.

Handling and storage

Respiratory protection:

If dust is generated, then a filter apparatus with a P1 particle filter must be worn to satisfy the requirements of DIN EN 143.

Hand protection:

Protective PVC gloves must be worn and contaminated or damaged gloves must be replaced.

Eye protection:

Protective eyewear with side protection or safety goggles must be worn.

Body protection:

Workwear that covers the skin; if a large amount of dust is generated then dust protection overalls should be worn.

Protection and hygiene measures:

Avoid inhalation of vapors or dust.

Ensure that exposed skin is protected through application of barrier cream. Wash the hands and face at the end of the working period.

Eating, drinking and smoking are prohibited while working.

Stability and reactivity

Thermal decomposition:

No exothermal reactions up to 450 °C.

Dangerous decomposition products:

Thermal decomposition may yield SO2, CnF2n, COF2 ammonia, amines

and hydrocarbons.

Disposal considerations

Under observation of the requirements of local regulatory authorities, this substance may only be sent for disposal to suitable incineration plants with waste gas treatment.
