Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

Testing according to UN N.1 was done by Bundesamt für Materialforschung und- prüfung (BAM). The substance N-(2-Nitrophenyl)-phosphorsäuretriamid does not propagate the combustion over a distance of 200 mm. Therefore the test substance is not a readily combustible substance according to UN N.1.

The test substance burns under addition of the inert substance Kieselguhr as well according to UN test method O.1. Hence testing for oxidising properties was disregarded. The test substance is indeed not a readily combustibe substance but flammable.

The test result according to UN method O.1 is therefore a false positiv result.

N-(2-Nitrophenyl)-phosphorsäuretriamid is not an oxidising substance. (see attached statement of BAM)

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Oxidising properties:
no

Additional information

N-(2-Nitrophenyl)-phosphorsäuretriamid is not an oxidising substance.

Justification for classification or non-classification

No classification of N-(2-Nitrophenyl)phosphoric triamide for oxidising properties is required.
