Description of key information

Two studies on acute toxicity to daphnia are available, both being reliable. For hazard and risk assessment the LC50 value determined by IBR, being 99.9 mg/l (24 h) is taken forward as a worst case approach.

Additional information

Acute aquatic toxicity towards daphnia was tested in a GLP study performed in 1990 (IBR) and was found being harmful to daphnia showing an LC50 value of 99.9 mg/l (24 h). In another study performed 2002 by Wang et al. with daphnia a LC50 value (48 h) of 707.1 mg/l was determined. For hazard and risk assessment the value established by IBR is taken forward following a worst case approach.
