Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

The substance EC 941-224-7 was evaluated as part of the compliance check procedure for which a final decision with the decision number CCH-D-2114489571-39-01/F was released by ECHA in November 2019. In the decision, registrants were required to provide short-term aquatic toxicity data by 22 August 2022 and long-term aquatic toxicity data (including aquatic invertebrate toxicity data) by 21 May 2024. In the previous version of the technical dossier, a read across from docusate sodium (CAS 577-11-7) - for which a long-term toxicity data exists on Daphnia magna - was used as key information in the dossier of EC 941-224-7. In the final decision released, ECHA disagreed to use the read across data from docusate sodium as key information. The data from docusate sodium will now only be used as supporting information. New chronic aquatic invertebrate toxicity data will be presented in a subsequent dossier update, by 21 May 2024 at the latest, and evaluated in a group approach.
