There are two reliable data for the boiling point of dodecamethylpentasiloxane. Boiling point values of 229°C and 232°C at 760 mmHg were reported in handbooks of reliable data which have been subject to peer review and in which the original sources are traceable. The results are considered to be reliable and used in a weight of evidence approach. In a secondary source to which reliability could not be assigned, boiling point value of 229.9°C was reported for the substance.
