Description of key information
The terrestrial toxicity of zinc lactate can be understood in terms of the terrestrial toxicity of zinc(II) and lactic acid. Lactic acid is irrelevant for the hazard identification for soil organisms. For zinc, a lowest NOEC of 35.7 mg/kg is available, corresponding to 133 mg/kg zinc lactate.
