Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

The toxicity to microorganisms was tested in a GLP approach according to OECD guideline 209 using domestic non-adapted activated sludge as inoculum (BASF SE 08G0642/12G231, 2013). After an incubation period of 180 minutes the EC10 was found to exceed 1000 mg/L based on the nominal concentrations. In a study according to DIN 38412, part 8, the EC10 value of the test item on Pseudomonas putida was determined to exceed the highest test concentration of 1000 mg/L (BASF AG 9/1215/88.1988). Hence, the inhibition of the degradation activity of activated sludge is not anticipated when introduced in appropriate low concentrations.
