Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

A calculated log Koc of 2.88 is available (BASF SE, SRC PCKOC v2.0, 2012). This value refers to the uncharged molecule. The test substance is a salt and will therefore exist as an ion in the environment. Hence, the PCKOC-model may estimate adsorption to organic carbon defectively since it does not consider the ionic properties of the molecule. In a calculation conducted according to a publication by Franco & Trapp, 2008 using the parameters pKa = 2.78 and log Pow = -1.81 (values for the uncharged molecule, chemicalize.org online query on 19-04-2013) a log Koc range from 1.03 to 1.34 at pH 5 to pH 9 was determined for the ionized molecule. Based on these data the test substance is not expected to bind to the solid soil phase.
