Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

CAS 926 -63 -6:

According to Regulation (EC) 1907/2006, Annex IX, Section 9.1.3, Column 2, the study on the short-term toxicity to fish does not need to be conducted if long-term aquatic toxicity study on fish is available. Based on ECHA decision number CCH-D-2114552926-38-01/D, the Registrant will perform long-term toxicity testing on fish, i.e. a study according to OECD TG 210 (Fish, Early-Life Stage Toxicity Test).

CAS 598 -56 -1:

In a study according to DIN 38412-15 on N,N-dimethyl-ethylamine (CAS 598-56-1) with non-buffered test solutions all fish died within 96 hours if exposed to test concentrations of 46.4 mg/L and above. However, as no mortality or adverse effects was observed in neutralised test solutions during the complete exposure period (96-h LC50 > 100 mg/L; BASF AG, 1980), it may be stated that the observed effects in non-neutralised test solutions are solely based on pH.

CAS 121 -44 -8:

There are further experimental data on the read-across substance triethylamine (CAS 121-44-8) from two studies according to OECD 203 (96-h LC50: 24 mg/L; MOE, 1999) and EPA OTS 797.1400 (96-h LC50: 36 mg/L; Machado, 1994).
