According to ECHA Guidance on the Application of the CLP Criteria (v4.1, June 2015, §2.11.4.2.), the phenomenon of self-heating generally applies only to solids. The surface of liquids is not large enough for reaction with air and the test method (UN N4) is not applicable to liquids. Therefore liquids, unless adsorbed, are not classified as self-heating.
Moreover, nor the major component nor impurities contain metals, which are typically self-heating substances.

Additional information
As the substance is a liquid, the relevant test for flammable properties is the flash point measurement. A reliable experimental study is presented under point 4.11.
Based on the chemical structure and experience, no flammable properties are anticipated if contact with air or water, therefore studies were deemed unnecessary. Self-heating is unlikely for liquids, and not technically feasible.
Justification for classification or non-classification
There is currently no existing harmonised classification for the substance in Annex VI to Regulation (EC) N°1272/2008 (CLP), including ATP2.
The measured flash point of the substance being over the threshold values of 55°C and 60°C, it is NOT self-classified as flammable (liquid) nor according to Directive 67/548/EEC (DSD) criteria, nor according to Regulation (EC) N°1272/2008 (CLP) criteria, respectively.
