Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Conclusions:
Typically, iron molybdate it is contained in catalysts (preparations), together with other components. These catalysts are usually marketed in the form of pellets. Iron molybdate is not produced or used as a pure substance in powder form by the registrant. For the purpose of generating some physico-chemical data on iron molybdate, the registrant has obtained a small quantity of iron molybdate in powder form from a US supplier. The median particle size distribution, which is however not relevant for the assessment of pellets, is ca. 3.3 µm.

Description of key information

Typically, iron molybdate it is contained in catalysts (preparations), together with other components. These catalysts are usually marketed in tablet form. Iron molybdate is not produced or used as a pure substance in powder form by the registrant. For the purpose of generating some physico-chemical data on iron molybdate, the registrant has obtained a small quantity of iron molybdate in powder form from a US supplier. The median particle size distribution, which is however not relevant for the assessment of tablets, is ca. 3.3 µm after milling.
