First-aid measures

Remove soiled or soaked clothing immediately.

Poisonous symptoms can first be observed after several hours, therefore medical observation for at least 48 hours is necessary.

Remove to fresh air, keep patient warm and at rest. Irregular breathing/no breathing: artificial respiration.

Place and transport casualty in stable position (lying sideways).

Wash off immediately with soap and water. Seek medical advice immediately.

Flush eyes with large amounts of water for 20 minutes, holding lids apart. Seek medical advice immediately.

Do not induce vomiting. Seek medical advice immediately. Rinse out mouth and give plenty of water to drink.

Fire-fighting measures

Extinguishing measures to suit surroundings.

When heating or in case of fire formation of toxic gases.

Use self-contained breathing apparatus.

Run-off water from fire fighting must not be discharged into drains or enter surface water.

Accidental release measures

Personal protective equipment. Keep people away and stay on the upwind side. If ventilation insufficient, use a respiratory protection apparatus.

Do not discharge into the drains/surface waters/groundwater.

Information regarding personal protective measures see chapter above.

Handling and storage

Provide good ventilation of working area (local exhaust ventilation, if necessary).  Handle and open container with care.  Keep container tightly closed. Use breathing apparatus when transferring large quantities without exhaust ventilation facilities. Dust deposits that cannot be avoided must be taken up regularly. Suitable industrial vacuum cleaners or central exhaust ventilation equipment must be used for taking up dust.

Hold breathing apparatus.

Prevent penetration into the ground.

Do not store together with: food, combustible materials

Keep container tightly closed. Keep under lock and key or accessible only to specialists or people who are authorized.
