Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The conducted studies (acute toxicity on fish, acute and chronic toxicity on aquatic invertebrates, toxicity to algae and toxicity to microorganisms) revealed no relevant toxicity to aquatic organisms, since the maximum testing concentration exceeded the water solubility by far.

Additional information

Since no hazard has been identified and fish long-term sensitivity has not been tested yet the registrant proposed to perform a long-term toxicity In that case, ECHA's guidance on information requirements and chemical safety, chapter R.7b (v4.0, June 2017, p. 59, Fig R.7.8 -4) advocates for long-term toxicity testing on fish when it is not possible to determine whether there is a trophic level more sensitive than another by a factor 5 to 10 between fish and invertebrates. Presently, it is not possible to determine whether there is a more sensitive trophic level between those two. A long-term toxicity test for fish according to OECD 210 guideline is therefore proposed.
