Conclusions:
Interpretation of results (migrated information): insoluble (< 0.1 mg/L)
Tetrabenzyl thiuram disulfid is insoluble in water
Executive summary:

The purpose of the study was to estimate the solubility of the test item in water which is specified by the saturation mass concentration of the test item in water at a specified temperature, according to the OECD 105 guideline.

The water solubility of the test item was estimated to be smaller than 0.01 g/L in a preliminary test (non-GLP). Therefore, the column elution method was used in the main test. The water solubility of the test item Tetrabenzyl thiuram disulfid (TBzTD) was determined to be below 10 µg/L using the column elution method for the performance of the main test.

Description of key information

Two reliable studies performed according to OECD 105 guideline are available.

Both studies indicate a low water solubility (< 10µg/L).

For one of the two studies, information from migrated NONS file as per inquiry # [06-0000014692-69-00000], permission to refer granted by ECHA
