Results: The nonspecific immune parameters tested in the study did not show an effect of treatment at any dose. However, the assays chosen were not representative of all immune system parameters. Possible effects on the spleen were seen in female offspring, but the effect was an increase in relative weight that did not follow a dose-response relationship. Overall, this study does not suggest any conclusions relevant to immune system function. The dose stated in the study is inaccurate as it is based on a nominal inhalation dose that is not verified, and no recognition is given to oral exposure from grooming during the continuous 21 day whole body inhalation treatment. It is not possible to draw a relevant conclusion in regard to effects of the test compound on immune system functions. On this basis the study has been disregarded.

Justification for classification or non-classification
