Administrative data

First-aid measures

•       Inhalation: Remove to fresh air. If difficult to breathe, seek medical attention.

•       Skin:  Wash skin immediately with plenty of soap and water for at least 15 minutes..

•       Eye:  Flush eyes immediately with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. If irritation persists, seek medical attention.

•       Ingestion:  If person is conscious, immediately give large amounts of water. Seek medical attention.

Fire-fighting measures

•       Extinguishing Media:  Water, dry chemical or foam or CO2

•       Special Exposure Hazards:  Toxic fumes of carbon monoxide and/or carbon dioxide emitted under fire conditions. In high                                                 concentrations, dust may form explosive mixture in air; classified as a Class ST 1 dust explosion hazard (ASTM E1226).

•        Special Fire Fighting Procedures: Use self-contained breathing apparatus with full face piece, operated in pressure demand or other                                 positive pressure mode. Wear protective clothing to prevent contact with skin & eyes

Accidental release measures

•       Personal Protection:  Wear eye protection and gloves

•       Environmental Precautions:  Leaks and Spills: Sweep up and place in an appropriate waste container. Avoid raising dust. Hold for waste                            disposal. Ventilate area. Wash spill site after material pick up is complete.

Handling and storage

•       Keep in a cool, dry place

•       Keep in tightly closed containers

•       Handle & store according to label and other instructions to ensure product integrity and avoid dust formation.

Exposure controls / personal protection

•       In case of dust generation wear respiratory protection with P3 filter.

•       Hand protection not required under normal use. In case of major spill use protective gloves, nitrile or fabric gloves

Stability and reactivity

•       Stable at room temperature.

•       In high concentrations, dust may form explosive mixture in air; classified as a Class ST 1 dust explosion hazard (ASTM E1226).

Disposal considerations

•       Dispose in accordance with local regulation. Not considered as hazardous waste according to Directive 2008/96/EC.
