First-aid measures

Emergency measure - Inhalation: Move victim to fresh air. If breathing is difficult, oxygen

may be beneficial if administered by trained personnel,

preferably on a doctors advice. Get medical attention.

Emergency measure - Eyes: Immediately flush eyes with copious amounts of water for at

least 15 minutes. Assure adequate flushing by opening

eyelids with finger. Seek medical attention if irritation

persists.

Emergency measure - Skin: Remove contaminated clothing, and wash skin with soap and

copious amounts of water. Launder clothing before reuse.

Emergency measure - Ingestion: If it gets into the mouth, have victim rinse mouth

thoroughly with  water.

If swallowed, have victim drink 240-300 ml of water, and

induce vomitting. Get medical attention.

Fire-fighting measures

Recommended extinguishing agent: Water, foam, powder, carbon dioxide.

Product arising from burning: Under fire conditions, harmful decomposition products such

as carbon monoxide and nitrogen oxide might be generated.

Product determined by test: N

Protective equipment: Wear self-contained breathing apparatus and appropriate

personal equipment.

Accidental release measures

Emergency measures in case of spillage: Wear appropriate personal protective equipment as mentioned

in Handling (See section 2.3.10) during clean up. Avoid

contact with eyes and skin. Ventilate area.

For large spills, sweep or shovel into secure containers for

later disposal. For residual trace or small spills, wipe

away the spilled material.

Handling and storage

Handling: Handle with appropriate personel protective equipment under

ventilation. Avoid raising dust.

Protection: NIOSH/MSHA-approved respirator for organic

solvent.

Protective gloves: rubber or vinyl gloves.

Eye protection: safety goggles.

Other protective equipment: clean body-covering clothing.
