Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

A study was performed according to OECD guideline 201 and GLP (RCC Ltd. 2002g). Since the test item was not soluble in test water, five individual mixtures with loading rates of nominal 0.32, 1.0, 3.2, 10, 32 and 100 mg/L were prepared.

The 72-hour NOEC and the 72-hour EC0for the test substance to Scenedesmus subspicatus were determined to be at least at the loading rate of 100 mg/L (mean measured concentration 15 µg/L). The 72-hour NOEC and the 72-hour EC0might even be higher but loading rates in excess of 100 mg/L were not tested.

The 72-hour EC50 and the 72-hour EC100 were clearly higher than the loading rate of 100 mg/L. These values could not be quantified since the test item had no toxic effect on the on the algae (mean algal biomass and mean growth rate) up to 100 mg/L.
