Description of key information

The melting point of isophorone diamine isobutyraldimine could not be determined in a guideline study (OECD 102, 1995; EU A.1, 1992) with cooling with liquid nitrogen and heating at 5 K/min. Instead of a melting point, a glass transition was observed at -73 °C.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Melting / freezing point at 101 325 Pa:
-73 °C
