Specific details on test material used for the study:
STABILITY AND STORAGE CONDITIONS OF TEST MATERIAL
- Solubility and stability of the test substance in the test medium: Since the test substance is a poorly water-soluble inorganic compound, the test was carried out using the test item in the dispersed state. The ratio of the measured value to the nominal value was 91 to 92% at the time of preparation of the test solution and 89 to 90% after 24 hours (renewal). As a reference, the filtrate obtained by filtering the test solution (0.45μm) was similarly analyzed to confirm the concentration of the test substance dissolved in the test solution; the average value of the test substance concentration in the filtrate was less than the detection limit (<0.296 mg/L).
Analytical monitoring:
yes
Details on sampling:
- Concentrations: 0 (control), 100 mg/L
- Sampling method: the concentration of test item was verified at 0 and 24 hours.
Vehicle:
no
Details on test solutions:
PREPARATION AND APPLICATION OF TEST SOLUTION (especially for difficult test substances)
- Method: Since the test substance is a poorly water-soluble inorganic compound, the test was carried out using the test item in the dispersed state.
Test organisms (species):

Nominal and measured concentrations:
- 0 (control), 100 mg/L (nominal); 90.2 mg/L (measured).
- The ratio of the measured value to the nominal value was 91 to 92% at the time of preparation of the test solution and 89 to 90% after 24 hours.
Details on test conditions:

Details on results:
- Mortality of control: none reported
- Dissolved oxygen concentration: not specified
Validity criteria fulfilled:
yes
Conclusions:
The 96h-LC50 of the test item in rice fish was determined to be > 90.2 mg/L, based on measured concentration.
Executive summary:

An acute fish toxicity test was conducted according to OECD 203, under GLP conditions. To establish the toxicity of the test material to the rice fish (Oryzias latipes), a limit test was performed under semi-static conditions (renewal rate 24h). 10 fish per concentration were exposed to 100 mg/L test item (nominal concentration) or the control for 96 h at 24 ± 1 ºC. No mortality was observed. The concentration of test item was verified at 0 and 24 hours by ICP-MS. Under test conditions, the 96h-LC50 of the test item in rice fish was determined to be > 90.2 mg/L, based on measured concentration.
