Description of key information

Under the present conditions, the test results revealed that EC50 of germination and root elongation inhibition rates of the 10 seeds, except cucumber lettuce, carrot and tomato were >589 mg/L (the nominal concentration was 800 mg/L).

Additional information

Under the present conditions, the test results revealed that EC50 of germination and root elongation inhibition rates of the 10 seeds, except cucumber lettuce, carrot and tomato were >589 mg/L (the nominal concentration was 800 mg/L).

The results of definitive test showed that EC50 of tomato in the germination inhibition rate and root elongation inhibition rate under the exposure concentration from 30.8 mg/L to 175 mg/L were 83.2 mg/L and 63.0 mg/L with 95% confidence intervals. There were no germination inhibition effect from 30.8 mg/L to 595 mg/l in cucumber. EC50 of root elongation inhibition was 170 mg/L, with 95% confidence intervals.

EC50 of germination inhibition was 236 mg/L with 95% confidence intervals in lettuce. EC50 of root elongation inhibition was 137 mg/L, with 95% confidence intervals. The germination inhibition and root elongation inhibition rate in carrot were all lower than 50%.
