Description of key information

DVS005u was predicted to have no oxidising properties according to a QSAR performed in line with GLP and the standardised guideline EU Method A.21.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Oxidising properties:
no

Additional information

The key study (Tremain and Atwal, 2010) was conducted in line with GLP and standardised guidelines with a sufficient level of detail to assess the quality of the study. The oxidising properties of the test material were predicted by assessing the structure of the test material for any chemical groups associated with oxidation. The test material was predicted to be none oxidising accordingly. The study was performed to a good standard and was assigned a reliability score of 2 using the principles for assessing data quality as set out in Klimisch (1997).

Justification for classification or non-classification

The oxidisation prediction indicates that the test material does not require classification in line with Regulation Directive 1272/2008.
