Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The substance was found to be not readily biodegradable in a reliable screening study conducted to OECD TG 301F. The vapour pressure of the substance is very low and was determined to be less than 2E-06 Pa at 20 °C. The water solubility of the substance depends on the pH value and was found to be highest at neutral pH conditions (about 2.88 g/L at 20 °C at pH 7.1 - 7.2). Solubility was lower at slightly acidic conditons (640 mg/L at 20 °C and pH 5) or slightly basic conditions (924 mg/L at 20 °C and pH 9). As the octanol-water partition coefficient is generally low (maximum log Kow = 1.14 at pH 9), the substance is expected to not adsorb strongly to organic materials or particles. It will be mobile in the soil and in sediments, remaining mostly in the aqueous pore water phase. The low Kow is an indication that the substance is likely to have a low potential for bioaccumulation.
