The isothermal thermogravimetrical effusion method was applied for the determination of the vapour pressure of Fluoroamidine Hydrochloride.

A value of the vapour pressure of the test item was determined using the data obtained between 110 °C and 150 °C. The vapour pressure of the test item was determined to be

2.43 * 10-6 Pa at 20°C.

Executive summary:

Title:

Fluoroamidine Hydrochloride: Determination of the Vapour Pressure by Isothermal Thermogravimetry

Purpose:

The purpose of this study was to determine the vapour pressure of the test item using the isothermal thermogravimetrical effusion method.

Guidelines / Recommendations:

This study was designed to comply with the following methods:

European Community (EC), EC No. 761/2009, A.4: “Vapour Pressure”, 2009

Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), OECD Guidelines for the Testing of Chemicals No. 104: “Vapour Pressure”, 2006

Results:

The isothermal thermogravimetrical effusion method was applied for the determination of the vapour pressure of Fluoroamidine Hydrochloride.

A value of the vapour pressure of the test item was determined using the data obtained between 110 °C and 150 °C. The vapour pressure of the test item was determined to be 0.00000243 Pa at 20 °C.

This study is classified acceptable and satisfies the guideline requirements for vapour pressure studies.
