The toxicity of 2-[2-(3-butoxypropyl)-1,1-dioxo-1,2,4-benzothiadiazin-3yl]-5'-tert-butyl-2-(5,5-dimethyl-2,4-dioxo- 1,3-oxazolidin-3-yl)-2'-[(2-ethylhexyl)thio]acetanilide (UY-330) to microorganisms was investigated by Desmares-Koopmans (2004). The GLP-study was conducted according to OECD 209 and EEC Directive 67/548. Activated sludge collected from a domestic sewage treatment plant was exposed to a test concentrations of 100 mg/L in a limit-test over 30 min. A positive control (3,5-dichlorophenol) was used in order to validate the test conditions. On the basis of respiration rate the effect concentrations were determined by measuring the CO2-evolution. No adverse effects could be observed at the end of the exposure period and therefore, a NOEC and an EC50 value could not be calculated and are considered to be > 100 mg/L (nominal).
