Additional information

The aquatic toxicity of the substance 2-[2-(3-butoxypropyl)-1,1-dioxo-1,2,4-benzothiadiazin-3yl]-5'-tert-butyl-2-(5,5-dimethyl-2,4-dioxo-1,3-oxazolidin-3-yl)-2'-[(2-ethylhexyl)thio] acetanilide (UY-330) has been evaluated on fish, aquatic invertebrates and algae, as well as microorganisms.

In all available studies, which were conducted according to OECD, EU or ISO-guidelines and following GLP requirements, no effects of the test substance on the test organisms could be observed within the range of water solubility. Thus all reported endpoints are above the solubility limit of the substance, which was measured in all studies at a nominal test concentration of 100 mg/L and ranged between 0.02 to 0.043 mg/L in the differend test media.

In view of these results it can be concluded that UY-330 shows no effects up to limit of water solubility to aquatic organisms.
