Key result
Auto-ignition temperature:
430 °C
Atm. press.:
1 013 hPa

An initial ignition was observed at a temperature of 430°C and a sample size of three drops. Proceeding from this temperature, the lowest result in the first main test was found to be 430°C. A repeat test was performed using two fresh ignition vessels. The lowest result in the repeat test was 430°C, too. Based an the individual measurements, the ignition temperature of the test substance is specified as 430°C.

Conclusions:
The auto-ignition temperature was determined to be 430 °C.
Executive summary:

An experimental study was performed to determine the auto-ignition temperature of the test item according to UN Method A.15 and DIN 51794.

Description of key information

The auto-ignition temperature was determined to be 430 °C.

Key value for chemical safety assessment
