Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Materials and methods

Test guideline
Qualifier:
according to guideline
Guideline:
OECD Guideline 102 (Melting point / Melting Range)
Principles of method if other than guideline:
The Freezing temperature was determined according to “Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC)” in OECD Guidelines for the Testing of chemicals 102 - “Melting Point / Melting Range”. The sample and the reference material are subjected to the same controlled temperature programme. The difference in energy input necessary to maintain identical temperatures between the sample and the reference material is recorded. When the sample undergoes a phase transition, the corresponding change of enthalpy gives a departure form the base line of the heat flow record.
GLP compliance:
no
Type of method:
differential scanning calorimetry

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
Through the differential scanning calorimetry test, the Freezing temperature of the sample was not observed in the range of (-70~50)℃ (100.70 kPa).
