Results and discussion

Flammable solids
Key result
Test procedure:
burning time (test type not further specified)
Remarks:
or specified in description of method (migrated information)
Remarks on result:
other: The test substance melted and ignited, but only burned locally and briefly (10 seconds) before the yellow flame extinguished. Thus, no further testing was necessary.

Any other information on results incl. tables

The chemical structures of the components do not contain functional groups which might lead to spontaneous ignition a short time after coming into contact with air at room temperature nor to the evolution of a dangerous amount of flammable gas(es) when coming into contact with water or damp air. No metals, transition metals, boron or silicon are present. Experience in handling shows that the test material is neither pyrophoric nor flammable on contact with water.
