Conclusions:
The flash point of DIMETHYL 2-METHYL GLUTARATE is 98°C.
Executive summary:

The determination of the flash point of the liquid test item (i.e.DIMETHYL 2-METHYL GLUTARATE) has been performed according to the EEC Directive 92/69, part A.9 method, the NF EN ISO 2719 method and the GLP.

A PENSKY-MARTENS flash point tester (PMA4) has been used. The cup of the apparatus was filled with the sample. The heat was supplied at a constant rate 5 to 6°C/min with stirring at 120 r.p.m. Two measurements were performed successively. The tests were performed with a temperature ramp beginning at a predetermined temperature.

The flash point of DIMETHYL 2-METHYL GLUTARATE is98°C.

Description of key information
