Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Interpretation of results:
GHS criteria not met
Remarks:
GHS and EU-CLP criteria not met
Conclusions:
The flash point of test substance is above the classification thresholds of 60 °C (CLP criteria) or 93 °C
(GHS criteria). Therefore the test substance is NOT classified as a flammable liquid.
Executive summary:

The flash point of the test substance was determined under GLP according to ISO 3679/3680 method (listed in EU A.9 guideline), using a closed cup equilibrium method.
Determination was performed in duplicate, giving a FP of 120°C, under atmospheric pressure of 979 mbar. The measured value was then corrected to normal atmP.
The normal flash point of the test substance has been determined to be 121 ± 2 °C.
