Certificate from 15 January 2018
Type of method:
flask method
Water solubility:
> 400 g/L
Conc. based on:
test mat.
Temp.:
23.5 °C
pH:
9.3
Details on results:
An amount of 75g of NaTFSI was added to 100g of deionized water without any remaining particle observable. The temperature of this solution was 23.5°C and pH value was measured 9.3.
The solubility calculated for NaTFSI in water is then: 75/175 = 42.8% at 23.5°C
Conclusions:
Sodium bis(trifluoromethylsulfonyl)imide was highly soluble in water with a solubility 428 g/L.
Executive summary:

In this study the water solubility of Sodium bis(trifluoromethylsulfonyl)imide has been determined. An amount of 75 g of the test substance was added to 100 g deionized water and no remaining particles were observed. It was therefore concluded that the water solubility was 428 g/L at 23.5°C. The pH of this solution was 9.3.
