First-aid measures

Inhalation
Remove victim to fresh air. Consult with a physician if symptoms develop or persist.

Eyes
Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do so. Continue rinsing. Get medical attention if irritation develops and persists.

Skin
Rinse skin with water / shower. Get medical attention if irritation develops or persists.

Ingestion
Rinse mouth with water. If ingestion of a large amount does occur, call a poison centre immediately.

Fire-fighting measures

Suitabke extinguishing media
Water fog
Foam
Dry chemical powder
Dry sand
Carbon dioxide

Unsuitable extinguishing media
Avoid water in straight hose stream; will scatter and spread fire.

Accidental release measures

For non-emergency personnel
Keep unnecssary personnel away. Local authorities should be advised if significant spillages cannot be contained. Keep people away and upwind of spill/ leak. Do not touch damaged containers or spilled materials unless wearing appropriate protective clothing.

For emergency respnders
Keep unnecessary personnel away. Use PPE.

Environmental precautions
Avoid discharge to the aquatic environment

Methods and material for containment and cleaning up
Large Spills: Dike the spilled material, where this is possible. Use a non-combustible material like vermiculite, sand or earth to soak up the product and place into a container for later disposal.
Prevent entry into waterways, sewer, basements or confined areas.

Small Spills: Wipe up with absorbent material (e.g. cloth, fleece). Clean surface thoroughly to remove residual contamination.

Never return spills to original containers for re-use.

Handling and storage

Precaustions for safe handling
Provide adequate ventilation. Avoid contact with eyes. Avoid contact with skin. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment. Avoid release to the environment. Do not empty into drains.

Conditions for safe storage
Store in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight. Store in original tightly closed container. Keep container tightly closed. Store away from incompatible materials

Chemical stability
Material is stable under normal conditions.

Possibility of hazardous reactions
No dangerous reaction known under conditions of normal use.

Conditions to avoid
Avoid exposure to high temperatures or direct sunlight.

Incompatible materials
Strong oxidising agents. Strong reducing agents. Peroxides. Strong acids. Alkalies.

Hazardous decomposition products
If product is burned hazardous gases such as oxides of carbon and nitrogen and various
hydrocarbons may be produced.

Disposal considerations

Residual waste
Dispose of in accordance with local regulations.

Contaminated packaging
Since emptied containers may retain product residue, follow label warnings even after container is emptied.

EU waste code
The Waste code should be assigned in discussion between the user, the producer and the waste disposal company.

Disposal methods/ information
