Partition coefficient
- Type:
- log Pow
- Partition coefficient:
- 0.13
- Temp.:
- 25 °C
- pH:
- 7
- Details on results:
- A calibration plot of log10k’ versus log10Pow was constructed for the reference standards. The logarithm of the capacity factor for the test item was then calculated and the log10Pow value was determined by extrapolation.
The test item, SPS 5290 Stage 3, was thus determined to have a log10Pow value of 0.13 (equivalent to a Pow value of 1.4)
Applicant's summary and conclusion
- Conclusions:
- The test item, SPS 5290 Stage 3, was found to have a log10Pow value of 0.13.
- Executive summary:
The purpose of this study was to evaluate the partition coefficient of the test item, SPS 5290 Stage 3.
The study was conducted in accordance with accepted principles in order to meet the requirements of REACH Regulation (EU) No 1907/2006 of the European Parliament and of the Council, Commission Regulation (EC) No 440/2008 (as amended) of 30 May 2008 and the OECD Guidelines for Testing of Chemicals.
This study was conducted according to EC Method A.8 and OECD Method 117.
The test item, SPS 5290 Stage 3, was found to have a log10Pow value of 0.13.
