Results

The results from the two definitive runs are summarised below:

Run 1 Run 2
Correlation -0.8342 -0.7187
Slope -3070 -2315
Intercept 5.828 3.542
Log Vp at 25°C -4.47 -4.22
Vp (Pa) at 25 °C   3.39 x 10^-5 6.00 x 10^-5

The vapour pressure was calculated as the mean of the two runs and was determined to be 4.7 × 10 ^-5 Pa at 25°C.

A visual assessment of the sample following testing confirmed that the test item had not undergone significant change.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
The vapour pressure of SPS 5290 Stage 3 was found to be 4.7 × 10-5 Pa at 25°C.
Executive summary:

The purpose of this study was to determine the vapour pressure of the test item, SPS 5290 Stage 3.

The study was conducted in accordance with accepted principles in order to meet the requirements of REACH Regulation (EU) No 1907/2006 of the European Parliament and of the Council, Commission Regulation (EC) No 440/2008 (as amended) of 30 May 2008 (Method A.4) and the OECD Guidelines for Testing of Chemicals (Method 104). The vapour pressure of SPS 5290 Stage 3 was found to be 4.7 x 10-5 Pa at 25ºC.
