substance does not ignite and propagate combustion either by burning with flame or smouldering along 200 mm of the powder train within the 2 minutes test period

The test item melted and burned with a yellow flame, but burning ceased soon after removal of the ignition source (4 seconds). There was no propagation along the test pile. No further testing was necessary.

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the flammability of the test item, SPS 5290 Stage 3.

The study was conducted in accordance with accepted principles in order to meet the requirements of REACH Regulation (EU) No 1907/2006 of the European Parliament and of the Council and Commission Regulation (EC) No 440/2008 (as amended) of 30 May 2008.

The study was conducted to EC method A.10 and was found to be Not highly flammable.
