Description of key information

NECTARYL is a small organic molecule with a molecular weight of 220 g/mol. It is a liquid and has a water solubility of 4.6 mg/L at 20°C and a log Pow of 4.8. The physico-chemical properties on NECTARYL would suggest the substance is likely to be absorbed via dermal, inhalation and gastric routes following exposure. No other indications on the toxicokinetic behavior of NECTARYL could be derived from the results of the available studies and no specific studies on the absorption, distribution, metabolism and excretion of NECTARYL are available. However the very low toxicity of the substance suggests that it may be considered inappropriate at this time to conduct further animal work to support ADME.
