OTHER TEST CONDITIONS
- Adjustment of pH:
- Photoperiod: 16 hours light: 8 hours darkness
- Light intensity: 698 - 712 lux

EFFECT PARAMETERS MEASURED (with observation intervals if applicable) :
Biological observation:
Observation intervals: at 2 ± 0.5 h, 5 ± 1 h and 24 ± 2 h after the start of the exposure (day 0-1). On days 2-4 of the test, all vessels with living fish should be inspected twice per day (preferably early morning and late afternoon to best cover the 24-hour periods).

TEST CONCENTRATIONS
- Spacing factor for test concentrations:
- Justification for using less concentrations than requested by guideline:
- Range finding study
- Test concentrations: 10 and 100 mg/L
- Results used to determine the conditions for the definitive study: During the period of 96 hours, no death or any visible toxic signs were observed in control group and test group of 10 mg/L. At the test group of 100 mg/L, no visible toxic sign was observed and all fish died during the test.
Reference substance (positive control):
yes
Remarks:
Potassium dichromate
Key result
Duration:
