No experimental studies are available investigating the adsorption/desorption potential of Bis(1-methylheptyl) adipate (CAS 108-63-4). Therefore, the log Koc was estimated using KOCWIN v2.00 based on the Molecular Connectivity Index (MCI) and the log Kow method, respectively.
The obtained log Koc estimations were 4.52 based on MCI and 5.29 for the log Pow based estimate. Both models indicate a high potential for adorption to particles of soil and sediment, which is in line with the high estimated log Pow (> 8 at 20 °C).
