Conclusions:
The log Pow at 24 °C was -1.68.
Executive summary:

The purpose of this GLP study was to determine the partition coefficient with the HPLC method in accordance with current OECD and EU testing guidelines. The capacity factors k and log Pow were calculated based on the calibration data obtained with the reference substances. The retention time of the test item was outside the range of retention times obtained for the six reference items which corresponded to log Pow values in the range betwen 0.3 and 4.0. The log Pow value for the test item derived by extrapolation was -1.68

Description of key information

The key value is taken from a GLP study in accordance with OCED Guideline no. 117 and EU Method A.24, using the HPLC method.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Log Kow (Log Pow):
-1.68
at the temperature of:
24 °C

Additional information

For the calculation only the biggest peak (of 3) was considered. The retention time was outside the retention times of the 6 reference standards, ranging in log Pow value from 0.3 to 4.0.
