First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Inhalation: Remove person to fresh air. Give oxygen if breathing is
difficult. Seek medical attention immediately.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Rinse eyes with copious amounts of water for at least 15
minutes. Seek medical attention immediately.
Emergency measure - Skin: Flush skin thoroughly with water for at least 15 minutes.
remove contaminated clothing. Wash with soap and water.
Seek medical attention immediately.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Seek immediate medical attention, do not induce vomiting.
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing agent: Water spray or dry agents can be used to extinguish fires
containing the test substance.
Product arising from burning: Not determined.
Product determined by test: N
Protective equipment: Fire fighters should wear breathing apparatus.
Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: Avoid generation of dust. Personnel should utilise full
protective equipment. Spilled material should be collected
by vacuum or wetted with water and then placed in a drum to
be sent for incineration. Any washings should also be
collected for incineration.
Handling and storage
Handling: Personnel must wear full personal protective clothing
including gloves, overalls and eye/face protection. An air
hood with self-contained breathing apparatus / respiratory
PPE must be worn during open processes which must also
carried out in a laminar air flow booth.
Storage: The substance should be stored in the dark in a refrigerator
at 4°C.
Packaging of the substance and or preparation: Sealed 50kg fibre board drums with double plastic lupolen
liners.
