Description of key information

An OECD 207 study of toxicity of benoxacor to earthworm (Eisenia foetida) reported 7-day LC50 and 14-day LC50 values >1000 mg/kg dry weight soil.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The key study (Rufli, 1989) investigated the toxicity of benoxacor to earthworm (Eisenia foetida). The study followed OECD guideline 207 and was GLP compliant. This study was considered to be reliable without restriction (Klimisch 1). The obtained 7-day LC50 and 14-day LC50 values exceed 1000 mg/kg dry weight soil, the highest nominal concentration tested.
