Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The adsorption coefficients (log Koc) of the test item were determined to be in the range from 4.13 to 4.37 (weighted mean 4.23) for soil and from 4.37 to 4.67 (weighted mean 4.49) for sewage sludge.

A mean log Koc value of 4.36 (22 °C) derived form the weighted means for soil and for sewage sludge were used as key value for the chemical safety assessment

Additional information

One experimental study is available investigating the adsorption potential of the test item. The adsorption coefficient (Koc) for the test item on soil and on sewage sludge using high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) was estimated according to OECD Guideline 121 and GLP. The test was performed at one pH value since the test item is not ionisable in the relevant pH range 5.5 to 7.5 and temperature controlled (22.0 °C, mean value). Acetonitrile : HPLC water (50 : 50 v/v) was used as mobile phase. Calibrations were performed using eight reference items for soil and seven for sewage sludge with known log Koc values (given by the guidelines). The adsorption coefficients (log Koc) of the test item were determined to be in the range from 4.13 to 4.37 (weighted mean 4.23) for soil and from 4.37 to 4.67 (weighted mean 4.49) for sewage sludge.
