Conclusions:
This parameter/method is not relevant for classification, however the information is useful regarding process safety and potential additional fire hazard.
No particular hazard is anticipated in normal conditions of storage.
Executive summary:

The auto-ignition temperature of the test substance was measured under GLP according to BS4056 standard (listed in EU A15 guideline).

The substance was tested for its autoflammable properties, according to EU A15 method.

The test material was injected into a heated flask, at the maximum test temperature of 400°C (limit test). No ignition was observed in the five assays, varying test amount.

The test material was determined to have no auto-ignition temperature up to 400 °C.

Description of key information

No auto-ignition up to 400 °C

No particular hazard is anticipated in normal conditions of storage.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

A fully reliable experimental study, conducted according to a recognized EC/BS method and under GLP, is available. Therefore, it is considered as a key study; but as the result is a limit value, no key value will be retained.

This parameter is not relevant for classification, however the information is useful regarding process safety and potential additional fire hazard.
