Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

With regard to stability, only experimental data on hydrolysis are available.

Hydrolysis of the test item was determined according EU method C.10 adopted 1984 and was in compliance with GLP (RL 2; Hüls, 1991).

Hydrolysis kinetics followed first-order. Stability at pH 7 (at 60 °C: k= 0.005 1/h; half-life 135 hours; at 70 °C: k= 0.02 1/h; half-life 35 hours) was higher compared to pH 4 (at 40 °C: k= 0.04 1/h; half-life 17 hours; extrapolate to 20 °C: k= 0.20/d; half-life: 3.5 d) and pH 9 (at 40 °C: k= 0.015 1/h; half-life 45 hours; extrapolated to 20°C: 0.075/d; half-life: 9.3 d).

In conclusion, the test substance was hydrolytically labile under the test conditions, and abiotic degradation will occur at pH values relevant for the environment.
