Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

PBT assessment: overall result

Reference
Name:
411-930-5
Type of composition:
legal entity composition of the substance
State / form:
liquid
Reference substance:
411-930-5
PBT status:
the substance is not PBT / vPvB
Justification:

Based on screening type tests on biodegradation as well as results on hydrolysis as a function of pH, the submission substance must be assumed to be potentially P, but not vP.

According to the long-term NOEC (21d; reproduction, parental immobilisation) of 0.0013 mg/L the submission substance fulfils the T criterion according to REACH Annex XIII and must be considered T.

Reliable QSAR based data on BCF for fish (QMRF demonstrating validity of QSAR model; QPRF demonstrating (1) applicability of QSAR model on submission substance, (2) reliability of the prediction, as well as (3) relevance of the prediction for the regulatory purpose) allow for a safe conclusion that the submission substance is not bioaccumulative (BCF 26 L/kg wet-weight, with an upper limit of 447 L/kg considering the uncertainty of the prediction). This conclusion is confirmed by two relevant supporting models based on very different methodology.

Likely routes of exposure:

The submission substance fulfills neither PBT nor vPvB-properties. Therefore no emission characterization is required.
