- Executive summary:
The freezing point range of HFE s-601 was determined by placing the test material in an acetone/dry ice bath with temperature probe readings. The study was conducted in accordance with the OECD 102 method and was GLP compliant; therefore the study is considered reliable without restrictions.
Test was done at ambient atmospheric pressure (value not stated). Stable temperatures were observed around the freezing point. A clear phase transition was observed at temperatures of (-56.9) °C (test 1), (-61.2) °C (test 2), and (-61.0) °C (test 3). The average of two repeatable temperatures was reported as the freezing point.
