Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

A literature review was conducted. In a weight of evidence approach the literature values were evaluated. The Design Institute for Physical Properties (2005) reports the vapour pressure to be 0.02256 hPa at 19.97 °C. The Yaws' Handbook of Antoine Coefficients for vapour Pressure (2nd Edition) reports the vapour pressure to be 0.02313 hPa at 20.51 °C. Furthermore Daupert (1989) reports the vapour pressure to be 0.208 hPa at 25 °C. In addition the GESTIS database reports the vapour pressure to be 1.3 hPa at 51.8 °C. The vapour pressure of 0.208 hPa at 25 °C was regarded as worst case assumption for chemical safety assessment and was therefore chosen as key value.
